3D for your website
3D Modeling and Digital Twins for the Web
Let customers turn your product around before they buy it.
We build your product as a 3D model people can spin, zoom into and recolor on your website, even on a phone. Start with a CAD file, photos, a sketch or just a description.
Back to you within 48 hours.
Try it
Turn it, repaint it, put it somewhere new.
This viewer is running live in your browser. Pick the duck or the coupe, change the paint, put the car in a garage, a studio or a dusk scene, and switch to wireframe to see it’s a real 3D model, not a video.
We drew both models in code, because we don’t put clients’ products in a public demo. The models we deliver run just as smoothly. Changing the paint is one small swap in a file you own, so a color picker costs nothing extra once the model exists.
Why 3D
A photo shows one side. A 3D model shows all of them.
Customers can turn your product around, zoom in on the details and switch colors on your website, with nothing to download.
- Products with options. One model shows every color and finish, so you don’t photograph each one.
- Products people want to inspect. Buyers can look at every side, up close, before they get in touch.
- Products that aren’t built yet. A model made from a sketch lets you show it and pitch it before the first one exists.
Where to start
Start with whatever you have.
You don’t need a 3D file. Send us what you’ve got, and we’ll quote the build within 48 hours.
- A CAD file or 3D scan. We rebuild it light enough for a phone.
- Photos or inspiration images. We model your product from them.
- A sketch or a written description. We turn it into a 3D model.
What you get
One model, three uses.
Most companies pay a 3D studio, a video team and a web developer to make the same product three times. We build the model once and deliver all three from it.
- A 3D model for your website that loads fast on phones. The files are yours to keep.
- Product images from any angle and in every color, for your website, sales sheets and ads.
- Video loops of the product turning, for your homepage and social posts.
Our work
Twelve builds, every one under 5 MB.
We hold every project to the same limit: under 5 MB, so it loads quickly on a phone. Here are a few of them, and the real numbers for all twelve.

Omoda C5. 118K triangles, 4.1 MB.
FRO truck. 74K triangles, 2.8 MB.
Piaggio food cart. 57K triangles, 2.2 MB.
Golf truck interior, inside a 3.2 MB payload.
Delivered against the budget
The ceiling is 150K triangles and 5 MB. These are what actually shipped.
| Build | Triangles | Payload |
|---|---|---|
| Bugatti Chiron | 146K | 4.9 MB |
| BMW M4 Competition | 128K | 4.6 MB |
| Volkswagen Tiguan interior | 121K | 4.3 MB |
| Omoda C5 | 118K | 4.1 MB |
| Automato vending truck | 95K | 3.6 MB |
| EVO interior | 92K | 3.4 MB |
| Dodge Challenger | 89K | 3.3 MB |
| Golf service truck | 88K | 3.2 MB |
| Dodge Charger | 81K | 3.0 MB |
| FRO truck | 74K | 2.8 MB |
| Fiat Abarth 650 | 62K | 2.5 MB |
| Piaggio food cart | 57K | 2.2 MB |
Every build above shipped inside the same budget: under 150K triangles, under 5 MB, under 50 draw calls. Figures are representative production numbers, confirmed per delivery contract.
Before and after
A car too heavy for any website, made light enough for a phone.
This Omoda C5 came to us as a scan with 4,855,679 triangles. You can read that count in the top corner of the left half. We delivered it at 118,000 triangles and 4.1 MB, and those renders are on omoda.co.za today.

Why it’s heavy
Most 3D is made for ads, not websites.
3D built for renders and commercials has no size limit: millions of triangles, and lighting calculated from scratch in every frame. A phone can’t do that fast. So the website ends up with a 20 to 50 MB file that looks great on a designer’s desktop and leaves phone visitors staring at a blank box.
Already paid for a heavy model? The expensive part usually survives. We redo the parts that were never made for the web.
How
How we make it light.
Each step is done by hand.
- Rebuild. We remodel the shape with far fewer triangles, keeping the edges that catch the light.
- Bake. Lighting and materials are painted into compressed textures, so the phone shows a picture instead of working out the light.
- Hand over. You get clean GLB and USDZ files with every part named, so your developers can animate any piece of it.
On this truck, each of the twenty doors is its own named part, so one can open while the rest stays still.
Own or rent
Why not a configurator platform?
A platform rents you a viewer and a dashboard, and you pay for it every year. We hand you the files and the code, so there’s nothing to renew and nothing to lose if you rebuild your website.
A platform is the better buy if you have hundreds of products that change every week and a team that edits them without a developer. For a handful of main products, owning the model costs less.
Next step
Send what you have.
A CAD file, a scan, photos, a sketch, or a few sentences describing your product. Within 48 hours we send you a quote for the build. From a CAD file, a full build takes 14 days. For anything else, the quote gives you the timeline.
We’ll sign your NDA before you send anything. Messy files and rough sketches are both normal. What you send is used for your quote and nothing else.
Questions
Questions we get asked.
- Do I need a CAD file?
- No. Photos, inspiration images, a sketch or a written description are enough for us to quote and build from. If you do have CAD or a scan, send that too.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on what you send and what you need, which is why we quote each build. You’ll have the quote within 48 hours of sending what you have.
- What can I send?
- Whatever you have. Photos, inspiration images, a sketch or a written description are enough to quote from. If your engineering team has CAD, send STEP, IGES, OBJ, FBX, Blender files or a 3D scan. If you already have a GLB, send that and we’ll tell you how much lighter it could be.
- What files do I get back?
- A compressed .glb for websites and a .usdz for augmented reality on iPhones, both with compressed textures. We can add FBX if a game engine or another tool needs it.
- Will it still look like our product at 5 MB?
- The detail moves from the shape into the textures: stitched leather becomes a texture instead of modeled holes, and the lighting is painted in instead of calculated live. The Omoda C5 on this page went from 4.86 million triangles to 118,000, and its renders are live on the client’s site.
- Will 3D slow down my website?
- A heavy model will. A model under 5 MB with baked lighting loads about like a large image and doesn’t make the phone work hard, which protects your page speed scores. What it does for your sales is something your own analytics can measure.
- Who adds it to our website?
- Usually your developers, and every part is named so they can find it. If you don’t have a web team, we build websites too and can do it for you.
- How long does it take?
- You get a quote within 48 hours. From a CAD file, a full build takes 14 days. Starting from photos, a sketch or a description, the quote gives the timeline, because it depends on how much has to be designed.
- What happens to what I send?
- It’s used for your quote and deleted if you ask. It never appears in our portfolio without your written agreement.
Your turn
Tell Nana what you’re making.
Photos, a sketch, a description or a CAD file is enough. She’ll tell you where to send it, or sign your NDA first, and you’ll have a quote within 48 hours.
She replies to everything herself. Usually same day.
